Lake Affect is an ambient chill-out electronica album featuring eight new instrumental compositions inspired by the life aquatic…and all those years of creating soundtracks for video games.

Here are some of the reviews this album has received from DJ's and radio stations around the world:

Mitchell Mendys, WKNH: "A smooth sweet dive into groovy blue azure sonic waves. Love the blend of ribbon of drift and beatz. Perfect for my show."

Graham J Barclay, Soundwave FM: "Great work..excellent harmony and presentation, with a great variation in style."

George Young, Country Club Productions pty ltd: "Great work on this disc full of great music. One to be proud of."

Jacques Jongmans, Dutch Coast Radio: "wonderful music and so well performed."

The Stivs, Portland: " This is the first ambient chillout album released by Texas tunesmith Jeffrye Glenn Tveraas. It is the latest in a series of instrumental works that formerly were created for video games by Sega, Sony, Acclaim and a host of others. Although well known as a performing songwriter in Austin he likes to compose and create moody instrumental tracks late at night in his private studio and this CD represents the best of those sessions. "There is a real theme to this work; it is inspired by a long week at a cabin next to a mountain lake in Maine. There the imagination runs wild about what may be hidden beneath the surface even as the body and soul are soothed by the soft waters and the sheer quietude ot this tranquil setting. "This album is an hour of solace and tranquility with a light, medium-tempo lilt and is awash with evolving and complex synth textures gracing some interesting chord progressions."

Billy Ifantis SKYLIGHT Radio - "Jeffrye Glenn Tveraas creates music that is balanced between the early experimental days of Tangerine Dream and the erotic atmosphere of Enigma."

Matt Fury - Trance Fury Radio, Florida - "Maya and Abyssal have been running regularly on the station. It is a very well done CD and recorded and mixed nicely."

Richard Berkley - WRPI, Troy NY 91.5FM - "Very nice. Our RPM/Electronica DJs like it a lot. A very chill sound; almost like some of Thievery Corporation or Zero 7's best."

Serge Kozlovsky - MKMK radio (Minsk, Belarus) playlist - "10. Jeffrye Glenn Tveraas “Lake Affect” - “Submarine Blue" & “Paraglide”.  P.S. Can I ask to send me one more copy of your beautiful CD?"

ILR Live Radio Network, Australia (playlist - 8/06)
- "Deeper" and "Maya" in regular rotation with 6 plays each for the past 12 weeks.

Jon Gatiss Sense-Aetherica Radio UK - "Thanks again for Lake Effect. The track I chose is still in my playlist! LAKE EFFECT by Jeffrye Glenn Tveraas is a fine collection of well lustred New Age music. The tracks glide in and out from styles ranging from Ambient Minimalism through World Beats to more usual New Age or Easy Listening Music. Deeper, the first track is a deep and almost dark droning tune. It slowly progresses as sounds glide in and out of each other. It definatly sets the scene at the bottom of the lake! Maya, the next tune is a lush World Beat tune. Space Music with a Downtempo beat! The title track Lake Effect takes on an Iberian feel with hypnotic Spanish Guitar and more New Age Electronics. This is a very entrancing tune. A pleasent dreamy number!

Dj Excavator: Track Four is entitled Submarine Blue. Its intro has a quirky feel followed by such warm synths and crystal clear drums. This one will fill you with euphoria! More pure ambient droning in Baikal, (Track Five), I like this one a lot. it has some intriguing moments. Track Six, Paraglide furthers the mixture of new age beds with some more delightfull Spanish Guitar and World Beats. Expect your glee to be heightened! Abyssal, track Eight is yet another deep Down Tempo Meditation. It has a dub feel, a dreamy backing track, some vocal chanting and an almost KrautRock feel. Slippy and slidey! Journeyman, (Track Eight), is a grande finale of sound design and moodyness. It changes constantly through many styles of electronic technique and as a last resort has a fian moments of beats at the end. Very very cool. Thanks!
